Arrival in Florida

Well we're in Florida but on our way down we stopped in northwest Georgia first to visit friends, Pamela and Kirk. We had a great time and enjoyed the peaceful beauty of their Georgia home and great company. We also watched the election returns with them and had such fun and that's as close as we'll get to politics in this blog. Pamela and Bill and I took a drive to Amicalola Falls State Park which was just gorgeous. Below, the clouds cleared to show the beauty of this area.

Since Thursday the 9th we've been at a campground in New Smyrna Beach, FL, visiting with our friends Mike and Dee from PA who were vacationing here and also enjoying a visit to Orlando to meet with friends at the Food and Wine Festival at Epcot. The following are shots from the beach in NSB and a dinner outing with Mike and Dee.
