6-07 Oregon Family

It's taken me a while to update our blog. During the end of June Bill took a business trip to the East coast and was able to visit friends as well..always makes business travel more pleasant when you mix in a good visit.
Bill, my sister, Mim, and Billy and friend, Susan, all arrived in (back in) town right around the same time and the pace picked up considerably since we were then on a fast track for departure to Maine, via Canada.

The first picture is of sisters-in-law, Erin and Linda, and the next are the O'Brien men, Bill, Alan, Tim and Billy.

We had a Picnic with everyone who could come at our camper in Westfir and enjoyed having the family together. Everyone brought good food and thanks especially to Justin for the fabulous mussels he cooked for us and to Tim, Linda and Bill for the 2 yardbirds (chickens raised by Tim and Linda). They were also mighty tasty.

Here are two pictures from our final float down the MacKenzie River..sister Kathie on a pontoon boat and Linda and me hamming it up. We didn't catch too many trout that day but we had fun.
