Saguaro National Park West

It's now mid-March and we had stopped in Tucson to visit Saguaro National Park so one day we chose a walk ....it was a really nice one....through the desert... yellow flowers all over the place and warm, even hot toward the end of the walk.
Bill said he walked by this Cholla Cactus and this bit of it jumped out at him and stuck. Magnetism has its drawbacks :-)
When a Saguaro Cactus dies these ribs are left.
The pink flowers are Fairy Duster.
Blue Dicks

Next stop.. Phoenix.
