Maine, Sampson Reunion

There were 3 families groups who came to the Reunion, children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great, great-grandchildren of my grandfather, Edward Sampson. Below is a photo of all 60 of us, some coming from as far away as California and Washington state.
This is just my family group with my parents and my siblings and our children. (Unable to make it were 1 sister and her whole family; the children and grandchildren of another sister).
My parents and 4 of my siblings.
From youngest to oldest:
Anna, Lunn, Mim, (missing, Copey), Karen
Bill with my cousin's boyfriend, Dick.
One morning 30 family members went sailing on a schooner, Rachel B, Jackson, below.
Stacy and Emile
The harbor of Southwest Harbor as we sailed away from the dock.
Looking up a part of the island waters known as Somes Sound, the only fiord on the east coast of the US.
Owen and nephew, John, with John's girlfriend, Katie.
My brother and family sailed along with us on their boat.
Emile and Bill
One reunion night we a dinner picnic out by the ocean.
The reunion was an amazing experience that we are all glad to have been a part of. To my 83 yr. old mother and her 88 yr. old brother it was especially rewarding and well worth the effort we all put in to the planning and travel to get here.
