Christmas in Austin, TX, 2009
We arrived in Texas Dec. 20th and as mentioned in the last posting first staying at Lockhart State Park, just down the road from Austin and then moved to McKinney Falls State Park in Austin for Christmas and New Years. We're enjoying Texas a lot.....For some reason it just speaks to us...and not just Austin but Texas in general. Christmas day we all met at Emile and Stacy's house....fun presents, great food and good company. From the left: Bill, Owen, Eve, Stacy, Emile and Karen.
Emile and Owen....don't blame them for the matching shirts....they're a Mom present.

McKinney Falls State Park, on the south side of Austin and not far from Emile and Owen, has nice paths for walking and Onion Creek running through it. As you can see in my the next 2 pictures a lot of trees are bare and it looks like winter....but .....
